Obituary
Margaret “Peggy” Bramel of Newburg passed away March 16, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in St. James, MO at the age of 85 years. She had been a resident since October 2011. Peggy was born May 20, 1926 in Edinburgh, Scotland. She met and married William K. Bramel October 16, 1945 when he was serving in the military during WWII. She accompanied him to the United States where they made their home in Newburg, MO. Peggy was a homemaker and worked part-time for the Newburg School District for many years. She enjoyed traveling, particularly returning to Scotland and also trips to Canada to visit girlhood friends. She was fun-loving, kind, and touched the lives of all who knew her. She is survived by Bill, her husband of 66 years and three sons: Scott and wife Dale Ann of Newburg, Mark and wife Darlene of Rolla, and Hal and wife Bobbi of TX. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Bramel Banes. She also has many surviving relatives in her native Scotland. Seven grandchildren mourn her passing: Matt, Craig, Zachary, Kaitlin, Chrystal, Eric Bramel and James Banes. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren: Collin and Gracie, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. In lieu of flowers memorial Contributions may be made to Newburg Community Revitalization Program Group (NCRPG) for the Houston House. Visitation will Monday, March 19, 2012 at Teague And Sons Funeral Home in Newburg, MO from 5:00pm till 8:00pm. The funeral service will be Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Teague And Sons Funeral Home at 11:00am in Newburg, MO. Interment will be at the Newburg Cemetery in Newburg, Missouri. All arrangements were made under the direction of the Teague And Sons Funeral Home in Newburg, Missouri.
