Terry Ellen Sandifer of Rolla, after a long battle with cancer, passed away December 29, 2011 at the age of 82 years.
She was born in Cuba, Missouri December 5, 1929.
Terry enjoyed the beauty of nature and living in the country. During the springtime budding and summer transformation, she always had beautiful flowers blooming in her yard. She enjoyed watching this process.
When the season transformed into winter rest, Terry enjoyed feeding wild game turkey, doves, and other bird species. She was an artist with her crocheting talent and cooking.
Terry was a member of the Newburg Baptist Church. Always donating here time, especially to Vacation Bible School. She liked to reminisce about how important this activity was in her childhood.
Terry is preceded in death by her husband, James C. Sandifer. She is survived by her daughter Roberta Maxfield of Doolittle; step-daughter Nancy Langbein and her husband Ed of Fayetteville, Arkansas; grandchildren Chris Maxfield and his wife Christy of St. Louis, Sean Baker, and Amber Woods both of Fayetteville; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday January 2, 2012 at 10:00 am. Graveside services will proceed at 11:00 am at the Newburg Cemetery. Services under the direction of Teague and Sons Funeral Home.
